Rap Crypto y’all Know Bitcoin
The Canadian hip-hop singer, Jason Schadt has released a new song some months ago amid ICO ban in China. In a year were we have witnessed an incredible increase in the cryptocurrency market, Vandal could find its inspiration. This artist was working in different media outlets in Malaysia and Canada promoting the Hip Hop culture.
The Crib Show was one of the many projects he had in the media. He was the producer of this radio show focused on local and international Hip Hop music and culture. Different guests contributed and promoted the program like DJ Letahl Skillz, DJ Nesh and DJ Augie.
Not the First Artist Endorsing Cryptocurrencies
Different famous musicians promoted Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in different ways. For example, Björk, the Icelandic singer, has decided to launch its new album and accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
The press release about the album reads:
“Björk will also be the first artist to use cryptocurrencies in a meaningful way. Its album will be available for pre-sale using Bitcoin (BTC, Audiocoin (ADC), Litecoin (LTC) y Dash (DASH).”
The rapper Nas, has also decided to get involved in the cryptocurrency world. He has invested in Coinbase and many other crypto start-ups. In addition to him, Snoop Dogg has announced that his next album was going to be available for Bitcoins.
Cryptocurrency Market and its Exponential Growth
We have seen this year an incredible increase in the cryptocurrency market. The total market capitalization passed from $17 billion dollars to $300 billion. Bitcon, Ether, Litecoin, Dash have experienced important price increases. Only Bitcoin grew more than 1000 percent.
ICOs have had an important year regarding the funds risen. More than $3 billion in funds were allocated in ICOs in 2017. Some countries have tried to regulate them, but the new ICOs come with strict Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) policies. This helps ICOs when regulators try to control the market and the ICO situation.
In the last 24 hours we have seen Bitcoin managing an extraordinary $11 billion dollars’ volume. This incredible number is expecting to grow as big investors start to have different possibilities to invest in cryptocurrencies.
