Finally, “the future has come”  at least for those who have crypto coins and are sophisticated enough to pay using crypto for premier services in the area of the adult industry.

Like one of our friends, a builder, who has long been driving around in his van on the side of which was written: “Erection guaranteed”, the industrious businessmen from the crypto industry have now embraced the concept of adult entertainment, mixing business with pleasure. Now anyone wishing can use Pornhub and pay with crypto (and that’s far from all: read more from us on crypto used for naughtiness here).

Is this a pattern?

As we have been telling you, indeed the number of businesses that offer services in exchange for crypto has increased greatly over the last few months. The adult industry, with its huge reach (according to some research, it is the most profitable business in the world as of yet), is no exception.

The added benefits of anonymity that cryptocurrency can offer, plus lightning speed transactions and cryptocurrency’s versatility all add to the pros of the new payment method  and are there any cons?

You might ask whether the instability of the market is an issue here and we certainly think that the market can suffer drastic changes, as we have seen so far. Whether it’s worth keeping a healthy amount of cryptocurrency safe for, ahem, private purposes is a good question. Someday you might find, as some analysts predict, that crypto has gone back down to its production value of $1000 and there is nothing left of the money. Quinlan And Associates predict in their report, interestingly named “A Fool’s Gold: Unearthing The World of Cryptocurrency”:

“As an asset, we valued Bitcoin using a cost of production approach and a store of value approach, resulting in values of $2,161 and $687 respectively. To value BTC as a currency, we estimated its utilization for both legal, retail transaction payments, as well as payments on the black market. After significant testing, we calculated the price of BTC to be $1,780.

Saxo Bank’s Kay Van-Petersen, who predicted correctly Bitcoin’s stellar rise to fame before, is sure Bitcoin will rise to anywhere around $100 000, and many sources today agree:

“First off, you could argue we have had a proper correction in bitcoin, it has had a 50 percent pullback at one point, which is healthy. But we have still not seen the full effect of the futures contracts.

The question is if the intention is as hard as a rock to gain access to the mesmerizing opportunities Pornhub and Co offer, whether to use Verge or stick to fiat currency.

Who else is coming?

As you learn Playboy are also expanding their horizons by letting users pay with cryptos such as Bitcoin and Etherium, the temptation grows greater. Users will soon be able to pay for Playboy.TV in cryptocurrency, which, as the folk in the HQ hope, will help advertise the brand even more. There will be possibly an even greater inflow of payments from the advertisers, which will help the business expand faster in the world of viral videos and instant glory thanks to the Intenet.

PORNX, another company that decided to take the matters of pornography and cryptocurrency in their own hands, have made their plans known as far back as February, also hoping for some recognition as well as engagement from its viewers.

PORNX have tremendous ratings from a few reputable agencies  and they seem to have outdone Mastercard in quite a few ways, with faster transactions, better security (using a few pages from TOR’s book), and ridiculously low fees. PORNS have stated for the record:

“We  the team of developers of the project PORNX, were interested in the introduction of blockchain technologies in everyday life. Some areas are already occupied by interesting projects, but in the porn industry, nobody has implemented blockchain technology. We set ourselves a very serious and interesting task. The combination of two major sectors of the economy  porn industry and cryptocurrency.

Rise or Fall?

Even though man has had a healthy respect for the female form from the beginning of history, the temptation has not worn thin: a huge share of today’s money-making industry is based on advertising the naked female body.

However you like to think of it  the art (like Rafael’s paintings) becoming popular with the masses at last, and maybe the next Renaissance is coming, or profanation of human instincts to benefit corporate greed  men are attracted to women in a much more open way than vice versa.

We think that with so much pleasure and beauty just a hand’s reach away (pardon the pun), it is understandable that one’s judgment can easily be clouded.

We do advise, ultimately, that you still keep sober-minded if you’re going to invest in any kind of services using crypto, adult entertainment or not, and watch the current trends in the crypto market, keep track of the news, and study market analytics to get the best out of trading at all times.
