I have done my own mining, set up servers, cooling, and data center space. Fixed the equipment when it failed and had to make sure it was online and secure from hackers. Genesis Mining is so much easier. I like how the chose Iceland as the Mining location with arctic air and thermal power. The interfaces are easy to use and the protection you from making dumb mistakes like too small of bitcoin deposits that eat up all your profits. This is outdated, I just paid $44/MHs today. Apparently Genesis has increased the price more than two-fold and I wasn’t aware of this. Ugh..
I am highly satisfied with genesis mining. They are doing a good job, i bought 100mh of x11 mining and double as soons as its available again.
Paying with any issue, even if bought with credit card and tue to the possible undo of the credit card payment, they give you a part of the profit, if 30 days are over its fine and you get the rest of your earnings. Accurate and honest! Well done! Goooood job!
Me too! I have been mining with Genesis Mining for some time now and all I can say is that they were very open and transparent about the crises, and offered some good solutions. I have upgraded my contract and so far so god. I have my payment regularly and my contract is up to date. Hope the whole mining industry will soon be back on tracks. But I will be mining with GM in the future as they gained my trust trough this market crisis.
Me too, I am very satisfied with how things are going mining in Genesis Mining. I have tried some other sites but they turned to be scams or it was very hard to understand and use their site. GM turned to be the best mining company, legite and the one that pays me every day.So I will continue mining in Genesis and probabbly invest even more, by some other contract and see how it will be.

I agree with Msar: I have bought 50 MHs (today price is 2.200 USD) a month ago, today’s earning = ETH 0.54870590. No ROI at all: according to http://www.karldiab.com/EthereumMiningCalculator/, 12 months 50MHs ethereum mining = 838.25 USD (at today’s rate 1 ETH = 8,71 USD), so far from 2.200 usd.
I wouldnt mine on Genisis except for ETH. With the current price you wont ROI. BUT if you feel like the price of ETH will be really high soon (which I do) then you will definitely ROI
Hey Rasta Masta. Your completeley right! That’s what we are doing. We have also already traded btc -> eth; eth -> btc successfully two times. Next big event is comming up in september 2016, Shanghai – this might push the price even higher. We will try to remind you early september again.
Appreciate the insights. I like Genesis for BTC (gradually increasing hash rate), and am interested in mining ETH as well. I still see it’s long term viability and a complement to my BTC portfolio, even after the recent DAO hack. Now that September is almost over, are you gents still with the program?
I strongly disagree! I would always recommend Genesis Mining. They showed openness and transparency in every step of our investment. That is something I value when it comes to my money and time invested. I have upgraded my contract and until now it turned out to be a great move. The payments are regular and on time and their customer service is just great. Genesis Mining is the most profitable and trusted mining company that gives high profit.
I don’t know what you guys are complaining about. You seem to think that not getting your money back in one year is a bad thing. Are you serious? Show me an investment in today’s low interest rate environment that will pay you even 25% ROI annually. The world’s best real estate only yields around 8-10% per year. So getting 47% is stellar! Getting even 20% would be good.
They aren’t talking about interest or gain on principal. What they are trying to tell you is that at best, you will invest X and at the end, you will have X minus something.

I have been screwed over by Genisis-mining in the past by not getting my investment back
They said 20 days not covering fees. Lost all but under 0.95 th/s. Instead of them changing the pool or working with their investors
Not impressed with their business practices. But I did agree to their contract

Mining market itself is a gamble, you never know how much will you earn from day to day. I think when you start mining you kind of agree on that, but you just hope for the best outcome. I am mining with Genesis MIning and despite market changes I haven’t had any major problems with my payments or contract. I have recently upgraded my contract and it seems to be a good move. I just hope the whole mining industry will be back on tracks soon

Wow so sorry to hear that! What happened? My experience with Genesis Mining is completely different, so I kinda have to tell you that Genesis Mining is definitely not a scam. So many people are mining with GM and have their profits rise from day to day. I am sorry that you are not one of them. I’m mining with GM for a long time and I am very satisfied. We can just hope mining market will recover and everyone’s profits will rise.

Is there some cloud-mining site that helps me mine Ethereum but actually pays Ethereum? I don’t want it converted to Bitcoin or fiat, i.e. I want to be paid/receive actual Ethereum.
I would allways mine in Genesis, as for me it is probably the best decision I have made when I first started mining. I mine a few curencies and all of my contracts are running and bringing me profits. I can say I am satisfied with my investment in GM, and definitely will be mining some other curencies in the future. They were very open about mining market crisis and offered a solution. Genesis Mining is definitely going places. It is not a biggest mining company with no reason, I feel like my investment is in a good place, and my paymants are regular and on time.
Genesis MIning is an amazing company to collaborate with! I’ve been with them since 2014, I have a few contracts and they are all paying off. I like GM because they are really safe and because they are not scared to give true infos on the market situation. They are ready to show how work is done in their offices and on the farms. I will never change GM as long as I invest!
