We have wasted enough coins by buying and selling on the wrong exchanges. There are Bitcoin exchanges offering great rates but have terrible fees. On the same time, there are other crypto-exchanges, where the rates are plain bad and in the same time they advertise 0% fees. Well, enough is enough! From now on you can easily use our tool to compare what each exchange is bidding and find the best platform to sell your Bitcoins. Result: Get the maximum value out of your Bitcoins!
We compare the real time price offers of many exchanges, so you do not need to waste your time. For each calculated amount, you can observe the exact calculation. See the offered price, exchange fees and payment fees. The whole process is semi-automated, since for some exchanges there is no easy way to get the fees. This is why we regularly control and update our tool. If you think we have made a mistake in our calculations, please do not hesitate to contact us!
As a team of four people we started to plan and develop the tool in november 2016. Since then we have: More than 5000 Lines of Code More than 100 Cups of Coffees More than 5 Months of Development This tool for comparing bitcoin sell prices is constantly getting software updates. We are always trying to expand the list of exchanges, but currently we can only compare those who have a btc-price API. Hint: We have currently not included any peer-to-peer trading marketplaces, since there is a high volatility and many scams going on.
Besides the initial price offer, there are two kind of fees involved in the calculation: transaction fee and fee on the payment method. The fee on the payment method is taken to settle the cost of using a given payment method like PayPal, Visa or Master Card. The transaction or exchange fee can be seen as the sum needed for the exchange to operate. Those fees can be set as an absolute amount (for example always 0.01 BTC) or as a variable percentage (for example 5%) of the amount traded. The amount traded is calculated by multiplying the bitcoin sell price with the amount you want to trade.
