How to transfer: Bitcoin to Amazon
After reaching the point that we want to transfer some money out of the cryptocurrencies, we didn’t know how to exchange Bitcoin to Amazon?
It was easy to buy Bitcoin, but to sell Bitcoin without paying high fees in a safe way was complicated … until we found the solution from Coinimal to transfer Bitcoin to PayPal. After successfully converting BTC into PayPal money, we thought we will try to do the same thing but with Amazon via Coinimal!
So, keep on reading for the quick way to convert Bitcoin to Amazon Gift Card:
Step-by-Step Guide: Bitcoin to Amazon (over Coinimal)
First, you need to register here. Free 5€ await you for signing up there.
The second thing you need to do is to go to the ‘Sell’-Page.
Here you simply choose the cryptocurrency you want to exchange – Bitcoin, Ethereum or NXTcoin. We choose Bitcoin.
And on the same page you need to choose one of the payout providers: Amazon Giftcard, Skrill, NETELLER, PayPal or SEPA – we chose Amazon Giftcard.
Now you need to decide how much you want to spend – in our case we went for 0.132 BTC, (or 50.03€).
Then hit ‘Next Step’.
Choose Payout Method
Now you need to choose Amazon Gift card as your payout method. We don’t really know, why they make you choose two times the same thing, but whatever, as long as it works, it’s good for us.
Then press on ‘Next Step’.
This page contains just information about how the trade will go on. Read it if you want and then go to the next page.
Choose Refund Address
Now you are on the Refund Address page. Here you need to enter your Bitcoin Wallet Address, where a refund will be made if the transaction somehow fails. In our case the transaction was successful, so there is no much more to say.
Finalizing the Bitcoin to PayPal Order
This is the final step before you convert your Bitcoin into an Amazon Giftcard. On this page, you can see the new Current Price (take note, the Bitcoin Price is continually changing, this way they are offering you the most recent price.), Sell Amount (what you are selling), you receive (the amount you will receive in Amazon Giftcode). It’s interesting to say, that here unlike PayPal there is no fee.
Press ‘Sell Now’ to finish the Bitcoin into Amazon Giftcard process.
Confirmation: Bitcoin/PayPal Order Successful
After pressing Sell Now, it says the order is successful – don’t forget that you still need to transfer the Bitcoin to Coinimal! That is what we did after getting to this page – sent them the bitcoins.
Success!! You don’t need to do anything anymore – besides waiting for the email confirmation! money.
Email Confirmation: BTC/Amazon
That is how the email confirmation looked like:
Getting the Amazon Giftcard
After 3 Bitcoin Blockchains got approved, we received the email with the Amazon Giftcode. We already tested the voucher and everything worked fine. Success!
