To sign up for CEX Bitcoin Exchange, all you have to do is create your password, supply your email address and the go check your email to verify it truly belongs to you. Immediately, you are given a basic level account, which allows you to buy and sell Bitcoin using your Visa or MasterCard with a daily limit of $500 and a monthly limit of $2,000 (USD). By verifying your identity, you will be bumped up to limits of $10,000 daily and $100,000 Monthly. If you need further purchasing power, you can opt for verified Plus status, which will give you unlimited daily and unlimited monthly account limits. For those of you who will be acting on behalf of a corporation, you can gain corporate status and have special, customized account limits and settings applied to your account.
By upping your verified level, you also gain access to bank deposits and withdrawals, as well as “No commission” options. There are certain countries that have restrictions above and beyond the account level limits and rules set forth by CEX Bitcoin Exchange, so make sure to check and see if your country is on the list of countries that need some extra attention. Your order is then filled fully or not at all depending on the availability of the market. While you may end up receiving more than you wanted, you will never receive less. There is a minimum order of .01 BTC and .10 ETH in order to place a buy order.
Selling Bitcoin or ethereum on CEX Bitcoin Exchange works much in the same way as buying does. You will incur a 7% fee and your sell order will be placed on the same FOK protocol. Again, you will never get less than agreed upon, but it is possible to get more.

If I could have awarded negative stars I would have!! Buyer beware: I have had a horrific experience with CEX.IO. The have a spread when buying and selling BTC which all exchanges have and is normal, but then they charge you about 7% commission on top of that. I sold my BTC and then requested withdrawals to 2 banks, they showed sent on August 24th. 2 weeks later I received the smaller one, it started out as $848.00, they deducted $50.00 for a wire fee (way higher than any other exchange, that should have left $798.00, but I only received… Read more »

I must say that the experience with that exchange is more than unsatisfactory! The limits imposed make it virtually impossible to make any gains in this booming crypto currency market and I got riped off by cex.io. I since have have started trading with https://liviacoins .com, which has a speedy transaction process, thus allowing me to make trades commensurate with the level of funding I desire.
If you want to deal in pennies or get scammed, stay with Coinbase.
It’s a shame that you can’t trade with less than 0. 01 of a bitcoin. I have 0.004 there that I can’t do anything with sell or exchange. As the price of bitcoin is rising this has gone up in value by quite a lot and I can’t do anything with it. The only way to access that money is by depositing more funds at the current rate i would have to deposit £100 before I could access or do anything with the £35 in coin I have.
